Enrique Forero Gonzalez ( Bogot , 1942 ) is a botanical Taxonomist specializing in the families of Fabaceae and Connaraceae. Dr. Forero became a full professor in 1986, at the Institute of Natural Sciences of the National University of Colombia. In 1965, he obtained a degree in Biology-Botany by the National University of Colombia , and in 1996, received his PhD from the City University of New York, and worked at the New York Botanical Garden.
